The launch of the Bikini Atoll second collection entitled REVOLUTION sees the use of laser cut neoprene, a new and innovative  technique not seen  before in Australia. The collection is inspired by a graphic and modern interpretation of 18th Century French decorative design. The neoprene designs, "NEOkini's", translate the geometry used in the custom designed prints. There is a harmonious intertwining of geometry and sculpture in a palette of citron, turquoise, rouge, lavender and rose. The fusion of classical elegance with an athletic direction in the use of neoprene forges new market opportunities for this collection. In the pipeline, Bikini Atoll will be collaborating with an international fashion designer in the Middle East to further expand the brand to the US, Asia and Europe market.  This season Bikini Atoll has secured representation by one of Perth's leading and highly regarded agencies, Devlin & Co. Jane Martino, director, plans to take the boutique swimwear label to fresh heights.  The REVOLUTION COLLECTION is due in stores and online from July 2013.

The word Dilettante translates to an admirer or lover of the arts, and this is clearly evident within the Perth boutique of the same name.

Opening in 2007 Dilettante combines fashion as art with ever-changing installations, to create a space that transcends a store and becomes a gallery of contemporary style.

Dilettante is continually intriguing, a living art form, where there is always something new to discover.

Empire Rose

Empire Rose

Empire Rose offers luxury basics & exquisite capsule collections. Designed and made in Australia, Empire Rose can be found in 30 premium boutiques throughout Australia, New Zealand & Asia. Established in 1998, Empire Rose attracts a strong following through their online store, retail boutiques in Australia, Singapore and New Zealand. Empire Rose designer Kathryn Cizeika draws upon her Eastern European heritage as the inspiration for her beautiful capsule collections her designs merge antiquity and the modern world. Theatrical billowing shapes with a touch of whimsy are testimony to the dramatic inspiration behind the Empire Rose label.  Luxuriant fabrics and majestic prints are synonymous with the Empire Rose aesthetic. The Spring Summer 13 collection,

‘The Moors’, is inspired by the haunting beauty of the untamed, tempestuous wilderness that is the English Moors.  Romantic hues of rich olive, deep purple, rose and mink blended with majestic watercolour prints in emerald green and ruby red. Androgynous silhouettes cut a sharp contrast against a veil of delicate Chantilly lace.

Fenella Peacock

Fenella Peacock is an artisan brand with a strong emphasis on everyday, relaxed luxury. On trend, but not adhering to here-today gone-tomorrow fashion, Fenella creates feminine designs with a quirk and confidence. She develops key seasonal collections that can move between summer and winter; and builds colour palettes in a tonal range that move between collections. A signature is her expression of playfulness through her love of fabrics and artisan techniques, resulting in pieces that can be worn myriad ways to express the individual. “People spend so much on what goes into their body, but they don’t think about what they put onto their body. Natural, unpolluted fibres, nurturing textures, clothing touched by skilled artisans who love their craft, pieces that invite you to touch and items that will last... I feel this is necessary and important in our world today,” she says.

Award winning Australian designer Kristy Lawrence has always had a definite design ethos and in her label FLANNEL has found the perfect medium to translate her lifestyle into a signature range of fashion. With four Australian stores and enjoying the success of their flagship store located in Venice, California, on the renowned Abbot Kinney Blvd rated by GQ as the hippest street in the United States and dressing the likes of Maggie Gyllenhaal, Rosario Dawson, Kristen Stewart, Ke$ha and Micelle Rodriguez. Later this year FLANNEL will be opening their first store dedicated to menswear in Cottesloe, Western Australia. The men’s collection debuted at Mercedes Benz Australian Fashion Week to rave reviews. "FLANNEL's collection usually makes me want to waft about aimlessly in an oyster silk slip, and this season was no different. The entire show was rendered in chalky shades of cream, beige and flesh, with everything appearing delightfully thrown on and just a little bit rumpled. Deep down, it's just the way I like it." - Genevra Leeks - Vogue Australia. With two more stores planned in Australia and the U.S by the end of the year FLANNEL shows no signs of slowing down!

One Fell Swoop

One Fell Swoop does not believe in a specific inspiration for a collection; instead, they draw from a wide range of cultures and references to create modern, avant-garde pieces. One Fell Swoop’s work experiments with volume, form, shape and fabric. Their work can be equally dark as it can be playful. One of the labels most recognisable attributes is combining tailoring with draping to create a shape that is equally sensitive/ feminine as it is modern/minimal. In “Making it up as you go”, layered, semi-translucent organza and chiffon pieces create light and movement in signature One Fell Swoop style whilst collection standouts such as the Athena Dress, The Wedding Dress and the Tuck Dress combine different fabric weights, of lace or sequin, into one garment transforming the One Fell Swoop designs.

After heading the womenswear design for Mooks Clothing Co, Kirsha Whitcher returned to New Zealand and launched her label, Salasai.

The design is conceptual, telling stories that are often dark, always beautiful and lined with meaningful contradictions. Whitcher interprets fabric to create silhouettes that are strong and tailored with subtle details of a modest feminine yesteryear. Intelligent cuts and meticulous use of colour enable unisex pieces that compliment the form and command a style of genderless androgyny. Each range is innovative, wearable and modern balanced with textural fabrics with a demand of quality, Salasai has been a fixture at New Zealand’s Fashion Week and continues to garner national and international accolades from the likes of UK Grazia, Yen, Frankie, Fashion Toast, Fashion Quaterly NZ and

Salasai relocated to Western Australia in December 2011. A brave move for Salasai to expand its market and explore more fully the potential of an international market.

ZSADAR pushes boundaries by challenging aesthetic interpretations of traditional menswear.

Launched in 2010, each collection is inspired by subversion, minimalism and the connotations subcultures impose on the human mindset.

Solemn tall silhouettes comprise razor sharp tailoring with clean expressive structures contrasted by voluminous, naturally draped shapes. All garments are proudly Australian made.
